A Month In Photo

I am officially an Instagram addict.  I may be a little late on the Instagram chain, but I only got my iPhone in February.  Obviously a little late on the iPhone chain as well.   (Of course, it’s after I switch from Droid do they put it in the Droid Market.  Things always seem to work out that way.)  Because of my new found addiction,  I thought I would share some of my favorite April moments via Instagram and PicFrame.

Starting from the left to right:

  • The gorgeous rose was a gift from one of my favorite patient’s at the dental office where I work.  He told me the best way to fertilize the roses was to throw your banana peel on them. For someone who knows nothing about gardening, I thought that was pretty interesting.   I’m sure everyone else knows that as common knowledge, but I’m always behind on these things.  Either way, the results of the banana is spot on!
  • At the end of the month, Andrew and I went over to Brooker Creek Reserve to be one with nature. We hiked about three miles, and enjoyed the weather and a great breeze.  Once we had met our hiking quota, we saw it fit to reward ourselves with a little orange and vanilla soft serve.  Best soft serve, ever.  If I could have the creamsicle swirl everyday, my fowl moods would be shed. It is magic!
  • The Evans’ clan have a love for whimsical coffee mugs.  For the amount of coffee we drink, we need to have as many mugs as possible.   Also, my husband wishes he was Swedish. Thanks to Andrew’s mom with a little help from Cafepress, we get to be Swedish with every cup of coffee.
  • One of the things on our list of things to do with our house was to get a part of our fence fixed. It’s been two and a half years, and that section of fence is not yet fixed. Because of that, we often find Chico and Candy in our backyard.  They belong to our backyard neighbor + 1 overs. That didn’t make sense, but it does? For someone who doesn’t own a dog, we most certainly get our fair share of puppy time. Usually when they make their appearance in the backyard, it means they dug out from underneath their fence. We hang for a bit until their mom comes and picks them up.  It’s an odd routine, that’s for sure.
  • Being so close to Clearwater Beach, we try to make use of it as much as we can.  Unfortunately that means hardly at all, since I kind of hate the beach. Well, I dislike the beach in the usual beachy-wear a bathing suit-kind of  way. (Bathing suits make me want to cry.)  The beach serves a better purpose as a form of exercise in the morning. Walking along the beach adds a bit of relaxation to your walk, but it also is brutal since the sand is a little difficult to walk on. Walking 6 miles makes you feel like you walked 12, and I have almost leg muscles to prove it.   The main reason as to why we like walking along Clearwater Beach is the little surprises along the way. Our favorite is the tree completely covered in shells. There isn’t a branch that doesn’t have a shell on. People have been putting shells on it for years, and it’s just such a beautiful concept. Love.
