I’ve been wanting to tackle the office for so long. It’s become our dumping ground for projects and everything we own. It’s so easy to just throw it into the office, shut the door and pretend like everything is pretty and perfect in the house. But of course, you open up the office door and it’s like a bomb went off. Not ideal, by any means. I knew I really wanted to get the Expedit book-case and with the desk attached as a work surface for projects. With all of the storage, it would make things so much more organized! So, we headed on over to Ikea with our shopping list in hand. Our list was our savior because we probably could have gotten off course about 20 times. So much to look at! But, time is of the essence when school is in session – so must stay focused! We got through the gallery in about an hour, which is pretty impressive. However, the market place took a little longer…especially when it comes to actually getting our boxes.
I wonder how much they sell him for? Oh, it says it right on the label. Only 35 dollars! What a bargain. Enough funny business – time to get down to the nitty gritty. We started to assemble the pieces the next day since we knew it was going to be quite the en devour. A few hours and a few breaks of frustration later – we had ourselves a finished product.
