Boy, oh boy. What a month May has been! It was all fun and games until I decided to take two summer classes. Somehow, every semester, I seem to forget just how much of a work load I’ll have. Total case of biting off more than I can chew. Balancing work, school and the website is no easy project. One, I most certainly cannot DIY. Maybe I should try to convince Andrew to contribute to the blog, aye? Wouldn’t that the entertaining!
Now with my obsession with Instagram, I like to post a little collage with photos from the month. It’s so nice to keep track of where you have been, and what you’ve seen!
- A few weeks ago, I was surprised when Andrew brought me flowers for no reason at all. It came at the perfect time though, after having a very cruddy day. Oddly enough, he didn’t even know the day was cruddy when he brought them home. It was just on a whim. A perfect vintage mauve rose whim. :-)
- Over Memorial Day weekend, we were lucky enough to have four days off. We went to the beach, saw a movie, did some shopping and relaxed. On Sunday, we made our way over to Hyde Park Village which is a quaint shop and restaurant area in Tampa. We decided to have lunch at a Irish Pub, who oddly enough, had the most amazing onion rings. Thanks to a mess up in the kitchen, we got two batches of onion rings for the price of one. As you can see by Andrew’s face, he’s definitely got that look of food contentment/coma going on.
- I may be the worst when it comes to pulling out of my driveway. Maybe it’s the fact that I still haven’t gotten all to used to the car, or maybe I can just blame it on the fact that the curb is a little high by the sidewalk when pulling out. Or I may just suck at driving. Whatever the case may be, I did manage to hit our white picket fence. Check out how the fence even says Michelin on it! Thank god this makes for a really funny story, or I would be mad about it. The dent I left in my car got “fixed” for what it’s worth. Barbra Streisand (Yeah, that’s what I named my car) may be a little battered and bruised, but it’s on the passenger side. If I don’t see it, it never happened.
- We finally got started on phase one of our office! A few hours at Ikea, and even more hours assembling the furniture, I’ve got myself a nice craft and sewing station. Note to self: When classes are over, learn how to sew!
What are you guys posting on Instagram these days?
