Mauvin’ Monday #13 Link Party

Greetings!  I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Andrew and I certainly did.  We ventured out to Ikea on Friday and finally started phase 1 of the office!  (Mind you, we still have yet to finish the hallway or the bedroom..) Today, we finally got to see the new Avengers movie.  I totally geeked out over Joss Whedon (Buffy fans unite!) directing, and Robert Downey Jr’s butt.  Seriously.  It’s the cutest thing on the planet.  Please note the fact that I tried to find a screen cap from the movie so you could understand what I’m talking about.  But then I got sidetracked when I saw screen caps of Jeremy Renner and his veins.  Short attention span?  Yes.   Love for butts and veins?  Evidently.

But now I bring to you the link party!  Big thanks to everyone who participated!

This week’s feature goes to…drum roll please!  Check out this amazing desk over at Fabulousified!

Mauvin’ Monday #12 Link Party

The past few days, I’ve felt like I should be getting the worst blogger award. I’ve barely been communicating with my bloggy buddies. But, I do have a good reason. Last week, I had to get four teeth extracted as part of orthodontic treatment. If you follow me on Instagram, I hope you had the pleasure of seeing my post extraction and teeth photos.  Now with a diet of mashed potatoes and various soft foods, I have to keep reminding myself – it’s going to be worth it in the end.  Despite feeling fairly disgusting, I could not let that get in the way of Mauvin’ Monday!

This week’s feature goes to Garage Sales R Us’ DIY Farmhouse Table! Absolutely gorgeous table!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mom’s out there!  In celebration of of Mother’s Day, and festival fever – I present to you a blog post on a Sunday!  That never happens in Vintage Mauve land.  But when Rosie over at Craftbotic let me be a co-host for her Festival Fever, how could I say no?

Yes, it’s that time again when we can picnic, spend time outside, go camping, enjoy music festivals, carnivals and outdoor sports. It’s time to glam up the outside living space and prepare for barbecues and lots of fun. Link up any projects that make the outdoors fun; these could be games, summer fashions, foods, whatever goes!
